Instructions
- 1Heat the oven to 425°F. Place tomatoes, garlic, and onion on a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil, and roast until softened and browned at the edges, about 30 minutes.
- 2Transfer the roasted vegetables to a pot. Squeeze the garlic cloves from their skins into the pot.
- 3Add broth, tomato paste, sugar, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
